Built of local stone, Swallows Cottage was originally home to the cows kept at Harley Farm. Sympathetically converted, many of the external features have been retained whilst inside the spacious modern accommodation provides everything you need for your relaxing holiday.
An oak front door leads to the large entrance hall providing plenty of room for coats and boots.
The comfortably furnished sitting room has two leather sofas, perfect for a relaxing evening watching the wall mounted Smart TV which offers Freeview channels. Alternatively there is a broad selection of books including histories of Shropshire together with maps and guides to plan your walks and visits. WiFi will enable you to keep up with the outside world and stay in touch with family and friends.
The cottage has very efficient electric radiators with thermostat controls and there is also an electric fire for those extra chilly winter evenings.
Also accessed from the entrance hall the modern well equipped kitchen provides all you need to prepare a snack or full meal.
- Electric oven and halogen hob
- Coffee machine

There is an ample supply of crockery, cutlery, glasses, kitchen utensils and tea towels but if we have missed anything please let us know and we will try to supply it.
The dining area with oak table comfortably seats 4 people.
To welcome you to the cottage we provide fresh milk, tea, coffee and sugar.
Downstairs there is a spacious shower room with large shower enclosure, WC and vanity unit wash hand basin.
From the entrance hall, stairs lead to a mezzanine landing with glass balcony overlooking the entrance hall, an attractive feature of the cottage.
At one end of the landing is a double bedroom with king sized bed, a wardrobe and chest of drawers. A handy hair dryer is stored in one of the drawers.
At the other end of the landing is the twin bedded room with two full size single beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Also accessed from the landing is a small cloakroom with WC and vanity wash hand basin.
All bed linen and towels are provided for your stay (please let us know if you would prefer to bring your own).

Cycling is very popular in the area and we can offer secure, undercover space for your bicycles if required.
The terrace, with table and chairs, provides an opportunity to enjoy sitting outside with a coffee or a glass of wine where you can watch the numerous birds that come to our garden including the summer visiting swallows for whom the cottage is named. If you have made a trip to our excellent butchers in Much Wenlock, a barbeque is available to cook your purchases (charcoal and firelighters provided).
